A gentle guided relaxation you can listen to whenever you want to slow down and unwind. Sign up below and it is yours, along with Gut Feelings, my weekly email for people living with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
Pop your email in and I will send you the guided relaxation straightaway, then one short, calming email a week.
One email a week. No pressure, and you can unsubscribe any time. I will only ever email you myself.
Living with IBS can be exhausting in ways other people do not see. The sudden cramp before a meeting. The mental map of every toilet on your route. The quiet worry that follows you around.
Gut Feelings is a gentle weekly companion. Each email helps you understand a little more about how your gut and brain talk to each other, and gives you one calm, practical thing to try. IBS is real, it is far better understood than it used to be, and understanding it is often the first thing that helps you feel more in control.
There is no hard sell here. Just useful, science-based reassurance landing softly in your inbox once a week.
If you are trying lots of things and not sure what is going on, the most useful first step is a positive diagnosis from your GP, so the red flags are ruled out. Gut Feelings walks alongside you from there.
If you were diagnosed twelve or more months ago and things are still hard, you are not a difficult case. You are exactly the person the treatment guidelines had in mind when they suggest considering psychological approaches.
If you just want ten quiet minutes and a bit of understanding each week, that is more than enough reason to be here.
I am Kathryn Dunn, a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapist specialising in IBS working face to face in York and online for the rest of the world. I use an integrated approach which brings together cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness and gut-directed hypnotherapy, and my specialist training in this area was developed and delivered by an NHS consultant gastroenterologist.
I started Gut Feelings because so many people with IBS are left to manage it alone, with short appointments and long waits. This is my way of offering something calm, clear and genuinely useful, every week, for free.
